Legal information

Privacy policy

Effective from 1 November 2026

This policy explains how ČEKAN servis s.r.o. processes the personal data of visitors to the cekanservis.cz website and of people who contact us, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing.

1. Data controller

ČEKAN servis s.r.o.
Company ID (IČO): 21152489
Registered seat: Zahradní 140, 281 41 Ratboř, Czech Republic
E-mail: servis@cekan.cz
Phone: +420 608 709 134

2. What data we process

  • From the contact form: name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), inquiry topic and the content of your message.
  • Operational and technical data: IP address, date and time of access, browser type and similar data automatically recorded in server logs when you visit the site.
  • Only if you consent to Google Ads conversion measurement: _gcl_* cookies (e.g. _gcl_au, _gcl_aw), the ad click identifier (e.g. gclid, gbraid, wbraid in the page address), the fact that a conversion happened (form submitted, phone or e-mail clicked, authorization document downloaded) and, when you submit the form, your e-mail address and phone number in hashed form — see section 5.

3. Purpose and legal basis

  • Handling your inquiry and communicating with you — legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Operation, security and protection of the website (server logs) — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Compliance with legal obligations if a business relationship arises (e.g. accounting and tax records) — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
  • Measuring conversions from Google Ads — solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); storing cookies on and reading them from your device likewise on the basis of consent under Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on Electronic Communications.
  • Remembering your choice in the cookie consent dialog (the cc_cookie cookie) — compliance with the obligation to demonstrate consent (Art. 7(1) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR); this is a strictly necessary cookie that does not require consent.

Filling in the form is voluntary. However, without your name, e-mail and message we cannot handle your inquiry.

4. Recipients and processors

  • Our web hosting and e-mail provider — Site BV, Operetteweg 7, 1323 VJ Almere, the Netherlands (Dutch CoC 53309847, VAT NL850832974B01) — who technically operates the website and delivers form messages on our behalf (processor). Data is processed within the EU.
  • Google (the embedded Google Maps map and the reCAPTCHA form protection — see section 5).
  • Only with your consent: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland — the provider of Google Ads, to which we pass conversion data (see section 5). Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

We do not pass personal data to other third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and third-party tools

The website uses no profiling cookies and no remarketing. Google Ads advertising cookies for conversion measurement are set only with your consent (see below). You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.

For anonymous traffic statistics we use our own self-hosted Umami tool, which sets no cookies, does not identify individual visitors and collects only aggregate data (e.g. pages visited, traffic source, device type). In some cases (e.g. when you click a link that opens another page) the script stores a technical value returned by the analytics server in the browser's session storage (sessionStorage) so that further page views are attributed to the same visit; it is deleted when you close the browser tab. This data is stored on our own server and not shared with third parties, which is why Umami is not part of the cookie consent dialog. Web fonts are likewise hosted on our own server.

Cookie consent dialog (necessary cookie)

The cc_cookie cookie stores your choice (which categories you allowed, the date of consent and a random consent identifier) so that we do not have to ask on every visit. It is valid for 182 days, after which we ask again. It is not shared with third parties.

Google Ads conversion measurement (only with consent)

  • Controller: ČEKAN servis s.r.o. (section 1).
  • Purpose: to find out whether a visit that came from our Google Ads ad ended in an inquiry — a submitted form, a click on our phone number or e-mail — or in a download of the authorization document, and to steer the advertising accordingly. The data is not used for remarketing or ad personalisation (the ad_personalization signal is always denied), and we do not use Google Analytics.
  • Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 89(3) of the Czech Electronic Communications Act). Without consent the Google script (gtag.js) is not loaded at all and nothing is sent to Google.
  • Data: _gcl_* cookies on our domain, chiefly _gcl_au (an identifier for conversion measurement) and _gcl_aw (the stored ad click identifier); depending on the type of ad click also e.g. _gcl_gb or _gcl_ag; valid for 90 days; the click identifier from the page address; the conversion itself; technical browser data that Google receives in the process (e.g. IP address, page address, time). When you submit the form, also your e-mail address and phone number, which your browser hashes (SHA-256) before sending, so that Google can match the conversion to the ad click (so-called enhanced conversions). For enhanced conversions Google processes the data as our processor under the Google Ads data processing terms. When a conversion is sent, Google may also read or set its own cookies on its domains (e.g. doubleclick.net) under its own policies.
  • Recipient: Google Ireland Limited (Ireland), with possible transfer to Google LLC in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (section 4).
  • Retention: the cookies for 90 days in your browser (or until you withdraw consent); at Google according to its data retention rules (policies.google.com/technologies/retention).
  • Withdrawing consent: at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. On withdrawal the _gcl_* cookies on our domain are deleted, the page reloads and measurement stops. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

The website also uses two Google services:

  • Google Maps — the contact section embeds a Google map that loads from Google servers and may store cookies and process data under Google's policies.
  • Google reCAPTCHA v3 — protects the inquiry form against automated abuse. It loads only once you start filling in the form. In doing so Google processes your IP address, browser data and on-page behaviour, and on that basis assesses whether you are a human or a bot. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form against spam (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Google privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Retention period

  • Inquiry data is kept for 5 years from the last contact. If a business relationship arises, accounting and tax records are kept for the periods required by law (up to 10 years).
  • Server logs are kept only for a short period for security and operational purposes.
  • The cc_cookie cookie with your choice: 182 days. The Google Ads cookies _gcl_* (e.g. _gcl_au, _gcl_aw): 90 days, or until you withdraw consent.

7. Your rights

In relation to your personal data you have the right to:

  • access and a copy of your data,
  • rectification of inaccurate or completion of incomplete data,
  • erasure ("right to be forgotten"),
  • restriction of processing,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • data portability,
  • withdraw consent at any time (the "Cookie settings" link in the footer),
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, contact us at servis@cekan.cz.
